Meet the Maker

Welcome to Second Half Manufacturing, my name is Laura and I am the creator here at SHM.

I hold the title of Wife, Mom, Mother-in-Law, Daughter, Sister, and Friend.

I've heard it said that the word "Title" refers to how you would describe yourself, and the word "Identity" refers to how God calls you. I will admit, it took me a long time to listen to Him long enough to find out!

But I think He calls me Maker.

I've made a lot of things over the years, quilts and pies, sweaters and people, mistakes and messes. But I am thankful that God has brought me this little corner of the world in which to create. The biggest blessing of all of it has been the community of people that I have found myself in. Not only have other makers and mentors turned to friends, customers have too.
